<br />The City of Casselberry Lakes Management Advisory Board held a meeting <br />Wednesday, September 2009 p.m., in the Casselberry Public Works <br />Department, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, FL <br /> <br /> <br />Appointed Board Members Present <br />Bryan Demurat <br />Dana Callan <br />Ashauntay Houston <br />Andrew Meadows <br />Scott Scherr <br />James Withrow <br />Leslie Yates <br /> <br />Appointed Board Members Absent: <br />Matthew Martin (excused) <br />Anne Miller (excused) <br />Pat Rose (excused) <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Kelly Brock, Ph. D., P.E., CFM, City <br />Kenna Henry, Senior Staff Assistant (Recording Secretary) <br /> <br /> <br />Call to Order: The meeting was <br /> <br />order 7:03pm. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Chairman Bryan Demurat called roll. Matthew Martin, Mrs. Anne <br />Miller, and Mr. Pat Rose were absent from this meeting. Mrs. Ashauntay <br />Houston arrived late. absent/late members called ahead to notify the <br />Recording Secretary of his!her status prior to this meeting. <br /> <br />Approval of the LMAB Minutes of June 3, 2009. Ms. Leslie Yates made a motion <br />to approve the June 3rd meeting minutes as presented. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Scott Scherr. <br /> <br />Old Business: Due to the the new business item, Mr. Scott Scherr <br />requested that the Board the new business first and then revisit the old <br />business. The Board granted the modification. Chairman Demurat temporarily <br />suspended the rules to hear the <br /> <br />· Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) & Lake Jesup Basin Management <br />Action Plan (BMAP) Update: Brock an in-depth presentation of <br />the purpose of TMDLs. A "Common Stormwater and Water Quality <br />Acronyms" sheet deciphering vast amount of acronyms currently used <br />in the stormwater field of study was handed out to each Board member. <br /> <br />The Clean Water Act (which was originally enacted in the 1940s) governs! <br />regulates stormwater/lakes management and wastewater. Three facets of <br />the Clean Water Act at this meeting were: Water Quality <br />
