Mr. Senzee explained that portion of <br /> <br />Code refers to <br /> <br />equipment used for a home business and not for domestic purposes. <br /> <br />A general discussion ensued regarding Section 2-7.17(A)(10) which referenced the Institute <br /> <br />Transportation Engineers, Trip Generation Manual 8th Edition, Single-Family Detached Housing (Code It was <br /> <br />decided to add "as may be amended from time to time" to the ordinance. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the regulation of animal rescue/shelters as home based businesses. <br /> <br />Ms. Smith provided the City Code's definition for "kennel". <br /> <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address ZB 09-05, Mr. Aramendia made a motion to approve 09-05 <br /> <br />ULDR's Article VII, Section 2-7.17 Home Occupations based on the staff report dated August 7,2009 from Mr. <br /> <br />Senzee to the Planning and Zoning Commission with the addition of the following verbiage to Section 10: as may <br /> <br />amended from time to time. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Sixth Item of Business: Other Business. <br /> <br />Ms. Smith explained that Mr. VonLangen has resigned from the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />said he has accepted a job in Alaska. Ms. Smith asked the Commission to refer any interested parties to staff. <br /> <br />A general discussion ensued regarding regulations that would limit the number of vehicles that can be sold <br /> <br />from residential properties and the City's moratorium on tattoo parlors, new/used car sales, pawn shops and <br /> <br />piercing. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, motion was made, seconded, and passed to <br /> <br />adjourn. <br /> <br />Tapes of the meeting are available as a matter of public record. <br /> <br /> <br />
