Liz Torres
seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously 4-0.

Audience Participation:
Mr. John Casselberry, 700 S Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, suggested putting a bike path
next to the side walk in the area near the middle school. He feels this would be a lot cheaper
than adding a bike lane to the road way.

Mr. Casselberry asked where Section III of the bike trail would end. Mr. Cruz replied that this
section would end on the road.

Mr. Casselberry asked if the addition of the bike trail would increase property value. Mr. Cruz
replied that statistics show that property values do increase with bike paths.

Mr. Casselberry also commented on the section of the bike trail near the school. He asked if the
school preferred the bike trail in the back. Mr. Cruz said that this is the most used route by
children.

Lake Concord/Anniversary Park Update
Mr. Cruz shared photos of the boardwalk, cafe picnic area, and playground. The handrails on the
boardwalk should be going in the next 2-3 weeks. The retention pond is being worked on this
week.

Mr. Cruz has sent in the grant paperwork for reimbursement of $200,000. Everything is moving
along. Trees will be planted in June/early July.
