<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELA lING T
<br />ANNEXATION; MAKING FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN
<br />THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA,
<br />CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 21S, RANGE 30E;
<br />REDEFINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY,
<br />FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE INTERIM PROVISION OF LAND
<br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN COUNTY
<br />LICENSEES FOLLOWING THEIR BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION WITHIN
<br />THE LANDS TO BE ANNEXED MAY CONTINUE TO FOLLOW SUCH BUSINESS,
<br />TRADE OR PROFESSION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CORPORATE LIMITS
<br />WITHOUT THE NECESSITY OF FURTHER QUALIFICATION THEREFORE;
<br />PROVIDING THAT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AS PROVIDED BY LAW, THE
<br />LANDS TO BE ANNEXED SHALL BE ASSESSED FOR PAYMENT OF
<br />MUNICIPAL AD VALOREM TAXES; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE
<br />CERTIFIED COPIES OF THE ORDINANCE WITH THE CLERK OF COURT AND
<br />THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING
<br />FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Casselberry City Commission to effect changes to the City boundaries in
<br />accord with City policies and state law;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
<br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. The lands described in Schedule A and shown on the map in Schedule B, attached hereto, be and they
<br />are hereby annexed to and included within the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida.
<br />
<br />Section 2. The Corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, be and they are hereby revised to include
<br />the land described in Section I hereof.
<br />
<br />Section 3. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida does hereby find that the lands described
<br />E in Section I are contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, that said lands meet the
<br />p criteria established by Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, that said lands should be annexed, and hereby consent to
<br />-F- the annexation.

<br />C Section 4. Upon annexation. the lands described in Section I shall retain a zoning and land use classification
<br />.5)!... established by the Seminole County Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Land Use Plan until otherwise
<br />~ changed or amended by appropriate ordinance of the City of Casselberry, Florida.
<br />
<br />Section 5. Effective commencing January 1,1997, all real property lying within the boundaries of the corporate
<br />limits of the City of Casselberry, Florida, as hereby revised, shall be assessed for payment of municipal ad
<br />valorem taxes pursuant to law.
<br />
<br />Section 6. All persons who have been lawfully engaged in any occupation, business, trade or profession ",'ithin
<br />the area described in Section I above, upon the effective date of this Ordinance under a valid license or permit
<br />therefore issued by Seminole County, Florida, shall have right to continue such occupation, business, trade or
<br />
