Planning & Zoning Commission!
Local Planning Agency
June 10, 2009
Page 2

general discussion ensued regarding proposed signage on Oxford Road. Ms. Smith provided a corrected staff report revising

the analysis portion of the staff report (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department).

Mr. Lee Mullon, Lochrane Engineering, 201 South Bumby Avenue, Orlando, Florida came forward. Mr. Mullan said

he concurs with staff and is available to answer any questions. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Mullon said

that Wal-Mart will provide a "Welcome to Casselberry" type sign on the northeast side of Oxford Road. He said the sign would

not be for the Wal-Mart development. Mr. Mullon said that any future signage would require review by the Planning and

Zoning Commission and the City Commission.

Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the

request. No one came forward.

Ms. Smith requested a favorable recommendation to the City Commission. Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to

address ZB 09-03. Mr. Aramendia made a motion providing a favorable recommendation to the City Commission of ZB 09-03

based on the staff report dated June 8, 2009 from Ms. Smith to the Planning and Zoning Commission as presented. Van

Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.

Fourth Item of Business: SPR 08.24: Casselberry Exchanae Eckerd's site revision. Mr.

Senzee said should the Planning and Zoning Commission choose to approve the proposed revisions to SPR 08-24 for the

proposed site and building modifications to the existing Eckerd structure located within Casselberry Exchange at 5803

Highway 17-92, the approval would be based upon the site plan dated January 22, 2009 , the revised site plan dated June 1,

2009, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated February 5, 2009, the staff memo dated June 5, 2009 and

the revised conditions of approval stated in the staff memo which were:

1.
