Mr. Richard Jackson, CEO D & D Garage Doors, said

they have been in business for 18 years and they currently have 7 sites across Florida. He said they install garage

doors for major builders and supply garage doors to other garage door companies. Mr. Jackson said the building will

be painted to meet the color palette required for properties located within the Community Redevelopment District.

Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition

to, the request. Mr. J.T. Wilkensen, employee of D & D Garage Doors, said that the dumpster is located to the rear

of the building. He said approximately 300 hours have been spent cleaning up the property. He said the parking lot

would be striped.

After a brief discussion, Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address CU 09-07. Ms. Hyde made a motion

recommending approval of CU 09-07 for 175 Anchor Road for D & D Garage Door conditional use request based on

the staff report dated May 8, 2009. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion.

The Board was polled.

Daniel Hale Yes
Marlene Hyde Yes
Harley Parkhurst Yes
Anthony Aramendia Yes
Nathan Van Meter Yes
Edmund Bakalla Yes
John VonLangen Yes

The motion passed unanimously.

Fifth Item of Business: Other Business.

Mr. Senzee said that the Planning and Zoning Commission had asked staff about the future plans for the

traffic circulation around City Hall.
