<br />The City of Casselberry Lakes Management Advisory Board held a meeting Wednesday, January 7, <br />2009 at 7:00 p.m., in the Casselberry Public Works Department, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, <br />FL 32707. <br /> <br />Appointed Board Members Present: <br />Dana Callan <br />Matthew Ma rti n <br />Pat Rose <br />James Withrow <br />Leslie Yates <br /> <br />Appointed Board Members Absent: <br />Bryan Demurat <br />Anne Miller <br />Dave Manor <br />Scott Scherr <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Kelly Brock, Ph. D., P.E., CFM, City Engineer <br />Kenna Henry, Senior Staff Assistant (Recording Secretary) <br /> <br />1. Call to Order: Due to the absence of both the Chair and Vice Chairman, the <br />Board unanimously authorized Ms. Leslie Yates to conduct this meeting. The <br />meeting was called to order by Ms. Yates @ 7: 10pm. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call: Ms. Yates called roll. Mr. Brian Demurat (excused), Mr. David Manor (excused), <br />Mr. Scott Scherr (excused), and Ms. Anne Miller were all absent. There were also three <br />audience members in attendance at this meeting. <br /> <br />3. Approval of the LMAB Minutes November 5, 2008: Mr. Matthew Martin made a <br />motion to approve the November 5, 2008 minutes. The motion was seconded <br />and carried by voice vote. <br /> <br />4. Old Business: <br /> <br />A. Lake Concord Stormwater Park Update: Dr. Brock mentioned that 100% plans <br />have been obtained, bids were received, and that the bids ranged from $1. 9M to <br />over $4M. This project is funded by the Water & Sewer Fund, the Stormwater <br />Utility Fund, Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Funding, and the FRDAP <br />grant (Parks grant). The City hopes to issue a Notice to Proceed on Tuesday, <br />January 13, 2009 following the approval of the City Commission to authorize the <br />agreement with APEC (lowest bidder) for the construction of this project. <br /> <br />In addition, Melody Lane to Quail Pond Circle will be closed beginning Monday, <br />January 19th in anticipation of project construction. Quail Pond Circle itself will be <br />unaffected and residents in the local area will have access to their homes. Future <br />plans may include a widening of a portion of Quail Pond Circle to accommodate the <br />ingress/egress of the parking lot area of the Stormwater Park. <br /> <br />The old Parks Department building will be demolished in the upcoming week in an <br />
