Excellent candidates have applied. <br /> Human Resources Director – <br /> Interviews for this position will be conducted on <br />o <br />rd <br />Friday, February 23 all day. <br /> <br />? <br /> Staff Changes <br />– <br /> Marty Castillo <br />– New Art Recreation Aide <br />o <br /> Kelly Pippin <br />– Due to school schedule has requested to change her status to <br />o <br />Seasonal employee and granted. <br /> Sylvia Kapous – <br />Marketing Intern <br />o <br />th <br /> Jose Castillo – <br /> Will be retiring on April 6, he is a Part-Time Maintenance <br />o <br />Worker, he also requested to stay on as a Seasonal employee and it has been <br />granted. <br />th <br /> <br />Interviews for the Adult & Youth Programs will start the week of February 26 <br />o <br /> <br /> Events <br />? – <br />rd <br /> <br />Latin Jazz & Art Festival – (Ritmo Caliente/Hot Rhythm) - March 3 6-9 PM. <br />o <br /> <br />Summer Camp will be held at Lyman High School again this year. <br />o <br /> <br />Pool Opening set for the last week of April. <br />o <br /> <br />Little League – it is time to negotiated a new5-year contract. <br />o <br /> <br />At this time Butch Spence addressed the audience and asked if Mr. Casselberry had any <br />questions. Mr. Casselberry addressed the Board with a suggestion; he mentioned that Parks & <br />Department should look into moving in the Cabaret building, because it was a good space to be <br />utilized. He added that Parks & Recreation should check the ability to uncover the pool that was <br />covered by the Casselberry Golf Course many years ago; this will alleviate the use of the pool in <br />Wirz Park. <br /> <br />Adjournment: <br />Motion made to adjourn meeting by Phyllis Sheppard; seconded by Liz Torres.
