P & R Administrative offices will need to relocate but at this time this project is on hold until the <br />new City Manager has a chance to look over the plans and cost. <br /> <br />Civic Center – at this time it is on hold but not cancelled CRA and the City Commission will <br />continue to have meetings to recognize the issues that need to be worked out. ZHA still is <br />working with the City. <br /> <br />Concord Cemetery – this project has not started <br /> <br />Bike Trails – there are two (2) bike trails planned – the environmental assessment process have <br />been completed. <br /> <br />Director’s Report: <br /> Staff Changes <br />?– <br />th <br /> <br />New City Manager, Barbara Lipscomb will start on January 29 <br />o <br />st <br /> <br />Cristina Vivo, Human Resources Director – last day was December 31. <br />o <br /> <br />Andy Brooks was named Human Resources Acting Director. <br />o <br />st <br /> <br />Jeffrey Dreier, Finance Director – last day was December 31. <br />o <br /> <br />Mark Glover, was hired as the Interim Finance Director, he will help with the <br />o <br />transition as well is the new budget and any audits. <br /> <br />Marty Castillo joined the P & R Department as a seasonal employee. <br />o <br /> <br />Economic Development Director – this job has been created to create a bridge of <br />o <br />communication between the CRA and City Commission. <br /> <br />Park Maintenance Staff – changes have been made to their responsibilities, individuals are <br />responsible for individual parks, and this will create ownership and accountability for each crew <br />member. <br /> <br /> Events <br />? – <br />rd <br /> <br />Latin Jazz & Art Festival – (Ritmo Caliente/Hot Rhythm) - March 3 6-9 PM. <br />o <br /> <br />Arts – tonight the exhibit for Advanced Placement students for Seminole County opened in the <br />st <br />Art House at 5:30 PM, exhibit will be on until February 1. <br /> <br />Little League will start very soon and everyone will receive an invitation to the parade that will <br />take place opening day. <br /> <br />The City’s dog park, Pawmosa is the park with the most attendance and receiving great reviews <br />and comments by visitors from the community and non-residents. <br /> <br />Adjournment: <br />Motion made to adjourn meeting by Pete Monaco; seconded by Liz Torres.
