Audience Participation:
Mr. John Casselberry asked if the Recreation Division has moved to the Art House. Mr. Cruz
replied that the Recreation Division is now operating out of the Recreation Center. Mr.
Casselberry also asked if the Sr. Center is moving over to the former Wachovia Bank building.
Mr. Cruz explained that, at this time, the City is only using the Wachovia Bank building for
storage. All senior activities will remain at the Recreation Center.

Mr. Casselberry asked if the eco tubing could be tom by passing boats. Mr. Cruz replied that the
eco tubing is made from a composite material which is extremely strong. Since this is a passive
use lake, he doesn't foresee any problems. Mr. CasselbelTY commented on the bridge between
South and Middle Lake Triplet. He feels that low walls and a narrower chatmel should be
created to hold the water better during times of low water. Mr. Cruz said that this would be
Public Works issue, not Parks and Facilities.

Mr. Dana Callan congratulated and thanked the PRAB for the energy put forth into Lake
Concord Park. Mr. Callan asked when the Parks Admin building would be demolished. Mr.
Cruz replied that this would begin later this week, probably on Thursday, 1/15. Mr. Callan asked
if there would be gaps between the park construction phases and about the scheduled completion
date. Mr. Cruz replied that the construction should be contiguous. The project should take 9
months, so it should be ready in the fall of2009.

Adiournment:
Butch Spence made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
