A copy ofthe presentation is attached to and made a part of
these minutes.

Commissioner Miller requested that the City attempt to get the most energy efficient lighting possible for
the park. Commissioner Doerner voiced concerns regarding the placement of the cafe area close to City Hall
and thought it should be farther from the building so that residents would have more of a sense of being in
the park rather than at City Hall. Mayor Glancy suggested that the bicycle rack area be designed so that
additional racks can be added in the future.

C. Presentation - Neighborhood Stabilization Program

Mr. Gerald Paradise, Community Development Director, presented information on the Neighborhood
Stabilization Program, a federal funding program for redevelopment of abandoned and foreclosed homes.
A copy of the presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes.

7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS

Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the
agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. The following individuals came forward:

I) Mr. Craig Tull, 420 Ranch Trail, announced that he was just notified that his employer,
Brighthouse Networks, is currently experiencing a widespread service outage and asked that
people wait 24 hours before calling for service because they are currently overwhelmed with
service calls.

2) Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, stated he thought if some foreclosed
homes were in very bad disrepair it might be better to turn those into neighborhood parks.
Mr. Casselberry suggested putting a sidewalk along the shoreline at the stormwater park
instead of installation of a boardwalk because it would be cheaper to maintain. Mr.
Casselberry also suggested that concrete bike paths be installed for the proposed bike trails
instead of using asphalt because it would be cheaper to maintain.

No one else requested to be recognized during Citizens' Comments.
