DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS - CITY COMMISSION AND <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />General discussion ensued between members of both boards regarding the site configuration, the residential <br />components, the elevated parking area, elevations of the retail space, the parking layout, pedestrian access, <br />and buffering between the adjacent residential areas and the project. General consensus was a preference <br />for the Mediterranean design style. It was noted that preliminary negotiations were continuing with the <br />Masonic Lodge for possible inelusion of that parcel in the project. <br /> <br />6. CRA - RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COMMISSION <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Mr. Daigle moved to recommend to the City <br />Commission the selection of the Mediterranean design <br />style conceptual drawings and design for the City <br />Center Project. Motion was seconded by Mr. <br />McGregor. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br />5 - O. <br /> <br />Mr. Daigle moved to recommend to the City <br />Commission to move forward with the pro forma and <br />the development and disposition agreement based upon <br />the preliminary concept layout and Mediterranean <br />design style. Motion was seconded by Mr. McGregor. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 _ O. <br /> <br />7. CITY COMMISSION - ACTION <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Solomon moved to accept the <br />Commnnity RedevelopmentAgency's recommendation <br />to select the Mediterranean design style conceptual <br />drawings and design for the City Center Project. <br />Motion was seconded by Mayor Goff. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller moved to accept the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency's recommendation to the City <br />to move forward with the pro forma and the <br />development and disposition agreement based upon the <br />preliminary concept layout and Mediterranean design <br />style. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. <br />Motion carried 4 - 1 (Commissioner Doerner <br />dissenting) by voice vote. <br />
