Resolution 08-1952 - Identity Theft Detection and Prevention Program <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN <br />IDENTITY THEFT DETECTION AND PREVENTION PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Introduction: Resolution 08-1952 implements an identity theft detection and prevention program as required <br />by the FACT Act of2003. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: This item has no budget impact. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 08- <br />1952. <br /> <br />E. Resolution 08-1955 - Award of Bid and Agreement with U.S. Water Services <br />Corooration for Meter Reading Services <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />AWARD OF BID AND THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY AND U.S. WATER SERVICES CORPORATION TO PROVIDE <br />METER READING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Introduction: Resolution 08-1955 provides for award of bid to U.S. Water Services Corporation who <br />submitted the lowest responsive bid for meter reading services. The estimated annual cost for meter reading <br />services is $131,000. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Funds to cover the cost for meter reading services is incorporated into Budget Account No. <br />401-0135-513.34 (Meter Services Contractual Services). <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 08- <br />1955. <br />
