Recommendation: The City Manager, the Community Development Director and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 08-1938. D. Resolution 08-1952 - Identity Theft Detection and Prevention Program "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN IDENTITY THEFT DETECTION AND PREVENTION PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 08-1952 implements an identity theft detection and prevention program as required by the FACT Act of2003. Budget Impact: This item has no budget impact. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 08- 1952. E. Resolution 08-1955 - Award of Bid and Agreement with U.S. Water Services Corooration for Meter Reading Services "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF BID AND THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND U.S. WATER SERVICES CORPORATION TO PROVIDE METER READING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 08-1955 provides for award of bid to U.S. Water Services Corporation who submitted the lowest responsive bid for meter reading services. The estimated annual cost for meter reading services is $131,000. Budget Impact: Funds to cover the cost for meter reading services is incorporated into Budget Account No. 401-0135-513.34 (Meter Services Contractual Services). Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 08- 1955.
