Award of Bid and Agreement for Landscape Maintenance <br />Services for Water ProductionlReclamation Facilities <br /> <br />$16,031.75 <br /> <br />Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial <br />process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in <br />excess of 5% of the total project. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City Labor Attorney invoice are available from FY 2008 Budget AccountNo. <br />001-0140-514.31.02. The cost associated with the Utility Billing Services is incorporated into Budget <br />Account No. 401-0133-513.47 (Customer Service Printing and Binding). Funds for the Landscape <br />Maintenance Services are budgeted and available in Public Works AccountNo. 401-0753-575.46.00 and No. <br />401-0754-533.46.00. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommended approval of the Special Invoice Report. <br /> <br />B. Certification of August 26. 2008 Election <br /> <br />Introduction: Pursuant to City Charter Section 38, the City Commission is requested to confirm the official <br />results of the August 26,2008 City Election and certify the officers elected. In accordance with City Code <br />Section 2-36, unopposed candidate Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford's name was not placed on the ballot because <br />she was deemed to have voted for herself. The Seminole County Elections Canvassing Board certified the <br />following results for Mayor/Commissioner Seat No.5 on September 3, 2008: <br /> <br />Candidate Votes ~ <br />Austin Brooks 75 2.78% <br />Charlene Glancy 1713 63.52% <br />Bob Goff 785 29.11% <br />Matt Myre 124 4.60% <br /> <br />In accordance with the transition provisions of Ordinance 07-1214 and the City Charter, the newly elected <br />officials, Colleen Hufford and Charlene Glancy will be seated at a special meeting to be held on November <br />10, 2008 prior to the regular meeting on the same date. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 08-1938 - Reyised Sale of Surolus Real ProDertv Policy and Procedures <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, ADOPTING REVISED POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR THE SALE OF <br />SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY; REPEALING RESOLUTION 06-1714; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />
