<br />automated or semi-automated collection system requiring the use of some other standard container <br /> <br /> <br />compatible with Contractor's equipment supplied by Contractor and approved by the City. <br /> <br /> <br />(k) Contract Administrator. The City's Public Works Director or hislher designee <br /> <br /> <br />with the authority to administer and monitor the provision of services set forth under this <br /> <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />(I) Contractor. Any person or entity serving as an independent contractor, including <br /> <br /> <br />its employees, servants, partners, principals, agents, joint-ventures, and affiliated subsidiaries <br /> <br /> <br />that has obtained from the City a franchise to provide the services set forth in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />(m) Curbside. That area of the road access serving as parkway, shoulder, or yard for <br /> <br /> <br />the Dwelling Unit. <br /> <br /> <br />(n) Customer. Any person residing within a Dwelling Unit. <br /> <br /> <br />(0) Designated Disposal Facility. The solid waste management facility designated by <br /> <br /> <br />the City for receiving Solid Waste, Yard Waste, White Goods, Bulk Waste, or Recyclable <br /> <br /> <br />Material under this Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />(P) Fiscal Year. The period between October 1 of a given year and September 30 of <br /> <br /> <br />the following year during the term of this Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />(q) Garbage. Putrescible waste which generally includes, but is not limited to, <br /> <br /> <br />kitchen and table food waste, animal, vegetative food, or any organic waste that is attendant with <br /> <br /> <br />or results from the storage, preparation, cooking, or handling of food materials attributed to <br /> <br /> <br />residential activities. Garbage shall not include any material that falls within the definition of <br /> <br /> <br />Special Waste. <br />(r) Hazardous Waste. Solid Waste or a combination of Solid Wastes which, because <br />of quantity, concentration, or physical, chemical, or infectious characteristics may cause, or <br /> <br />5 <br />
