<br />RESOLUTION 08-1979 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A WARRANTY DEED CONVEYING <br />CITY PROPERTY TO THE CASSELBERRY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY (CRA); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 13, 1997, the City purchased an out-parcel property at the comer of U.S. <br />Highway 17-92 and Triplet Lake Drive from Casselberry Investment Properties, LTD.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding for this acquisition was provided by the Casselberry Community <br />Redevelopment Agency (CRA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City holds title in Fee Simple via a Corporate Warranty Deed, (ORB 3256, PG <br />0419), for the vacant out-parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CRA and City auditors have requested that the City convey this vacant out-parcel <br />to the CRA via a Warranty Deed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a small area of the parcel was utilized for the Triplet Lake Drive Project roadway <br />infrastructure improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the remainder parcel contains 14,389 square feet of area, or 0.33 acres, more or less. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves conveyance of said <br />City out-parcel via a Warranty Deed instrument to the CRA, attached as Attachment "A", and authorizes <br />the Mayor to execute said instrument on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION n. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions ofthis Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION m. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect <br />of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED and ADOPTED this J 0<<' day of NOll i?
