<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />MiDutel of September 22, 2008 - Regular MeetiDg <br />Page 21 of 21 <br /> <br />Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat No.2: <br />Stated he respectfully disagreed with Commissioner Doerner's concerns regarding the conceptual <br />plans for the City Center. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No.3: <br />Stated she was pleased with the conceptual plans she saw at the last Community Redevelopment <br />Agency. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford - Seat No.4: <br />Stated the Steering Committee process has been effective so far for moving the City Center project <br />ahead and respectfully disagreed with Commissioner Doerner's concerns regarding the conceptual <br />plans. <br /> <br />Mayor Bob Goff - Seat No.5: <br />. Stated he was very pleased with the conceptual plans for the City Center and the fact that the project <br />is moving forward and disagreed with Commissioner Doerner's concerns regarding the plans. <br />Thanked Vice Mayor Hufford for serving on the City Center Steering Committee. <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner requested an opportunity to rebut the comments made. Mayor Goff stated <br />Commissioner Doerner already had an opportunity to speak and attempted to adjourn the meeting. The City <br />Attorney stated the Mayor technically could not adjourn the meeting if a majority of the Commission still <br />want to continue the discussion. Commissioner Doerner reiterated her concerns about the Steering <br />Committee process and her comments regarding her disappointment in the conceptual plans for the City <br />Center because of the possibility ofa rental/apartment housing element and that she hoped that the plan ends <br />up having a new urbanism development up toward U.S. Highway 17-92 that fits in with and accents the <br />community. <br /> <br />18.
