All were present. <br /> <br />5. MINUTES <br /> <br />A. Minutes of September 8, 2008 - Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Hufford moved to approve the regular <br />meeting minutes of September 8, 2008 as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner MiUer, Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />A. Departmental Presentation - Code Enforcement <br /> <br />Deputy Police Chief Jim Ruf gave a presentation on Code Enforcement activities. A copy of the <br />presentation is attached to and made a part ofthese minutes. <br /> <br />B. Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) Grant A ward and Related Design <br />Contracts <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Torres, Public Works Director, gave a presentation on the Natural Resources Conservation Services <br />(NRCS) Grant A ward and the related design contracts being presented for consideration later in the meeting. <br />A copy ofthe presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Goff announced that persons who wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. The following individuals came forward: <br /> <br />I) Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the amount <br />of the fines imposed by the Code Enforcement Board and felt the dollar amount should be <br />constrained. Mr. Casselberry voiced concerns regarding submerged stormwater pond <br />designs and felt there should be a 500 year flood elevation at the structures. <br /> <br />2) Mr. Bernard Fudim, 906 Niblick Drive, voiced concerns regarding pedestrian safety in <br />the City and the lack of rest areas along the pedestrian walkways. <br /> <br />No one else requested to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. <br />
