CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minute. of September 22, 2008 - Regular Meeting Page:2 of21 4. ROLL CALL The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present. 5. MINUTES A. Minutes of September 8, 2008 - Regular Meeting MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of September 8, 2008 as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner MiUer, Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. 6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS A. Departmental Presentation - Code Enforcement Deputy Police Chief Jim Ruf gave a presentation on Code Enforcement activities. A copy of the presentation is attached to and made a part ofthese minutes. B. Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) Grant A ward and Related Design Contracts Mr. Ed Torres, Public Works Director, gave a presentation on the Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) Grant A ward and the related design contracts being presented for consideration later in the meeting. A copy ofthe presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes. 7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Goff announced that persons who wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. The following individuals came forward: I) Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the amount of the fines imposed by the Code Enforcement Board and felt the dollar amount should be constrained. Mr. Casselberry voiced concerns regarding submerged stormwater pond designs and felt there should be a 500 year flood elevation at the structures. 2) Mr. Bernard Fudim, 906 Niblick Drive, voiced concerns regarding pedestrian safety in the City and the lack of rest areas along the pedestrian walkways. No one else requested to be recognized during Citizens' Comments.
