SECTION 3 GENERAL SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER A. The ENGINEER shall provide all services required to complete each task in accordance with the regulatory requirements in effect on the date of this Supplement to the extent of the scope of work as defined and set out in this Supplement. The ENGINEER shall perform professional services as hereinafter stated in accordance with good engineering practices. B. The ENGINEER will serve as the OWNER's professional engineering representative in those phases of the project to which this Supplement applies and will meet, consult with, and provide advice to the OWNER during the performance of these services. The ENGINEER will perform the services for the City Commission under the direction of the Public Works Director. The Principal-in-Charge will be Terry M. Zaudtke, P.E., BCEE and the Project Manager will be Scott A. Breitenstein, P.E. C. The ENGINEER will attend and participate in regular progress meetings and conferences with the OWNER. D. The ENGINEER represents that all personnel engaged in the work shall be fully qualified. E. Other subconsultant services are not included as part of the Supplement. If these services are subsequently determined advisable during the course of the work, they may be considered for authorization as an additional service under this Supplement or separately provided by the OWNER. F. The ENGINEER shall promptly begin work on the services authorized by this Supplement upon execution of this Supplement. It is intended that the FDEP Form 1 and Form 2A be completed and submitted (with the applicable permit fee to be paid for by the City) prior to the November 18, 2008 deadline. The remainder of the documents will be prepared and be ready for submittal after receipt of the FDEP's request for additional information letter, expected 30 days thereafter. 4
