<br />SECTION 3 <br />GENERAL SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER <br /> <br />A. The ENGINEER shall provide all services required to complete each task in <br />accordance with the regulatory requirements in effect on the date of this <br />Supplement to the extent of the scope of work as defined and set out in this <br />Supplement. The ENGINEER shall perform professional services as <br />hereinafter stated in accordance with good engineering practices. <br /> <br />B. The ENGINEER will serve as the OWNER's professional engineering <br />representative in those phases of the project to which this Supplement <br />applies and will meet, consult with, and provide advice to the OWNER during <br />the performance of these services. The ENGINEER will perform the services <br />for the City Commission under the direction of the Public Works Director. <br />The Principal-in-Charge will be Terry M. Zaudtke, P.E., BCEE and the <br />Project Manager will be Scott A. Breitenstein, P.E. <br /> <br />C. The ENGINEER will attend and participate in regular progress meetings and <br />conferences with the OWNER. <br /> <br />D. The ENGINEER represents that all personnel engaged in the work shall be <br />fully qualified. <br /> <br />E. Other subconsultant services are not included as part of the Supplement. If <br />these services are subsequently determined advisable during the course of <br />the work, they may be considered for authorization as an additional service <br />under this Supplement or separately provided by the OWNER. <br /> <br />F. The ENGINEER shall promptly begin work on the services authorized by this <br />Supplement upon execution of this Supplement. It is intended that the FDEP <br />Form 1 and Form 2A be completed and submitted (with the applicable permit <br />fee to be paid for by the City) prior to the November 18, 2008 deadline. The <br />remainder of the documents will be prepared and be ready for submittal after <br />receipt of the FDEP's request for additional information letter, expected 30 <br />days thereafter. <br /> <br />4 <br />
