Reported Mr. Dale Christensen has indicated that he does not wish to be considered for reappointment as Casselbeny's representative to the Metroplan Orlando Citizens Advisory Committee. Mr. Christensen's term ends in October 2008 and applications are now being accepted to fill the vacancy. 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Susan Doerner - Seat No. I: . No report. Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat No.2: . Commended staff for their efforts to make the Country Concert held August 9th a success. Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No.3: Stated she attended the Country Concert held August 9th and commended staff for their efforts to make the event a success. . Noted a citizen at the recent CRA meeting, voiced concerns regarding the homeless situation in the City. Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford - Seat No.4: . Stated she attended the Country Concert held August 9th and commended staff for their efforts to make the event a success. . Commended staff, local businesses and citizens who recently painted the City's art house and noted she would be asking the Casselbeny Chamber of Commerce formally recognize the individuals and businesses for their work on the community project. Reported over 50 people attended the Casselbeny Chamber of Commerce's candidate forum held on July 29t", noting two of the four candidates for Mayor participated in the forum. . Commended the City Clerk for conducting the town hall meetings for the proposed charter amendments and her efforts in making the meetings a success. Mayor Bob Goff - Seat No.5: . Stated he attended the Country Concert held August 9th and commended staff for their efforts to make the event a success. Stated he attended the recent Seminole County Chamber of Commerce Hob Knob. . Reported he was in receipt of a letter from the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority requesting 1.2 million dollars in funding which will be presented to the City Commission at an upcoming meeting. . Reported he was in receipt of a letter from Congressman Mica regarding issues relating to Amtrak.
