<br />local governments and reviewing agencies; and reviewed the recommendations of the City of <br />Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan map amendments adopted by this Ordinance <br />comply with the requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land <br />Development Regulation Act and the amendments are in the best interest of the public health, <br />safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Casselberry, Florida, and serves a legitimate <br /> <br />government interest. <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY ENACTED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS <br />FOllOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporated herein. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Authority. This Ordinance is adopted in compliance with, and pursuant to, <br /> <br />the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulations Act, Section <br /> <br />163.3184 and 163.3187, Florida Statutes. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That portion of the Future Land Use Plan Element referenced as the Future <br /> <br /> <br />Land Use Map of Chapter 66, Section 66-29 of the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances, as <br /> <br />amended and supplemented, said Chapter adopting the Comprehensive Plan of the City of <br /> <br />Casselberry, Florida, is hereby amended by adding the "TCEA Overlay District" to approximately <br /> <br />468 acres of those properties located east and west of US Hwy 17-92 from Seminola Blvd. to just <br /> <br />south of SR 436 and north and south along SR 436 from just west of US Hwy 17-92 easterly to <br /> <br />Lamplite Way. Said properties are also designated as the Community Redevelopment District. A <br />copy of the amendment to the Future Land Use Map is attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" and hereby adopted pursuant to Florida Statutes.
