<br />Community Redevelopment Agency <br />November 17,2006 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br />approval of the fagade elevations for the proposed DSI Dialysis Center on US Highway 17/92 in the <br /> <br />Community Redevelopment District based on the materials and colors provided by the <br /> <br />applicant and the conditions provided in the staff report dated November 7, 2006 which were: <br /> <br />1) If the CRA deems bicycle parking may be required at the of of <br />automobile parking. Bike equipment is to be compatible with the color and style of the building. <br />are to be located in an welHit and sheltered area. <br />2) All proposed signage shall be integrated into the building fagade. Staff recognizes <br />that the possibility of a design which complies with all CRA recommendations may <br />with a reduction in building However, staff supports the applicants request to <br />modify the orientation of the structure and feels that the proposed plan captures the overall <br />intent of the CRD district. <br />4) All building colors shall be the same as, or substantially similar to, the color palette defined as <br />the Benjamin Moore Historical Color Collection. <br /> <br />Mr. McGregor made a motion to approve the Dialysis Center as submitted. Ms. Rodriguez <br /> <br />seconded the motion. A brief discussion ensued regarding the design of the building. It was decided that <br /> <br />staff would work with the applicant to add some visual enhancement features to the building. It was <br /> <br />suggested that the metal door could be replaced with a glass door. The motion passed unanimously by <br /> <br />voice vote. <br /> <br />The agenda order was modified to hear agenda item number 7. <br /> <br />Fifth Item of Business; Audit Status <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Conrad, Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, 800 North Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, Florida came <br />forward to provide a status report on the CRA independent audit to the CRA Board Members. Mr. Conrad <br /> <br />explained the audit process. He said the audit would include a management discussion and analysis and <br /> <br />the CRA operating activities. <br />
