<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry <br /> <br />of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, October 2006, at 6:30 P.M., in the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Drive, <br /> <br />Florida. <br /> <br />Members present were: <br /> <br />Hal Billerbeck, Chairman <br />Bowman, Vice-Chairman <br />Jonathon Miller <br />Mary Anne <br />Earl McMullen <br />Guzman (alternate) <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br /> <br />Planner <br />Tim McClendon, Planner <br />Joni Dixon, Assistant <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, September 28, 2006. <br /> <br />Mr. Billerbeck stated the Chair would entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes for the public hearing held on <br /> <br />Thursday, September 2006. Mr. Miller moved to <br /> <br />the September 2006 minutes. Mr. McMullen seconded the motion. <br /> <br />motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Second Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. <br /> <br />Mr. McMullen disclosed that he spoke with the applicant regarding the variance and Mr. Sillerbeck disclosed he spoke <br /> <br />with regarding the variance and the person responsible for obtaining the building permit. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: BA 06-14: 43 North Winter Park Drive, Roy Depew. Variance request to Chapter II, Article VII, <br />Section 2-7.10c, "Residential Fences and Walls" to grant an 8 foot tall fence behind the main building line of a residential <br />property in lieu of a 6 foot tall fence. <br /> <br />Mr. Billerbeck asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Mary <br /> <br />43 North Winter Park Drive, <br /> <br />Florida <br /> <br />came forward. Ms. DePew said she is requesting the variance on her behalf and also her neighbor's behalf. Ms. DePew said she <br /> <br />is agreeable to the fence that was constructed by her neighbor on her property. Ms. DePew said the 8 foot fence is difficult to see <br /> <br />from the street. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Senzee, Planner, reviewed the background information and the analysis of the request, provided in his <br /> <br />memorandum to the Board of Adjustment, dated October 18,2006 (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department). <br />
