Resolution 08-1875 - Agreement with Garden World Nursery and Landscape Services and Related Budget Transfer The City Clerk read Resolution 08-1875 by title as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN GARDEN WORLD NURSERY & LANDSCAPE SERVICES, AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE U.S. 17-92 MEDIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND THE RELATED BUDGET AMENDMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation bv Barbara Lipscomb, Citv Manal!er: Resolution 08-1875 authorizes an Agreement with Garden World Nursery & Landscape in the amount of$263,290 to enhance the medians with landscaping and hardscaping along U.S. 17-92 from Piney Ridge Road north to Seminola Boulevard. The Agreement price of $263,290 includes recognition offunds from the Florida Department of Transportation in the amount $224,500. Approval of a Budget Transfer is requested to cover the difference between the reimbursable amount ($263,290) and the total bid amount ($224,500) which will be paid for out of the City's Tree Bank. Staff Recommendation: Approve Resolution 08-1875 as submitted. Resolution 08-1876 - Sale and Purchase Contract - 110 Quail Pond Circle & Related Budget Transfer in the amount of $186,060 The City Attorney read Resolution 08-1876 by title as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A LAND PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CHAO XIE, XIV RONG CHIEN, AND DONG SHENG WU AND THE CASSELBERRY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA) FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 110 QUAIL POND CIRCLE IN ACCORD WITH A CRA BOARD RECOMMENDATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
