<br /> <br />c. 2008.2009 Fiscal Year Project Prioritization Discussion: City staff recently pro- <br />vided justification for the Vac-Con educational wrap and other items listed as capital <br />improvement projects list that were identified in the Stormwater, Lakes Management <br />Master Plan. Dr. Brock mentioned that City staff are still reviewing the budget; al- <br />though nothing has been finalized. <br /> <br />D. Public Workshop Planning: Dr. Brock reminded the Board that the Florida Yards <br />& Neighborhoods landscaping seminar will be held on May 15, 2008@ 6:30pm in the <br />Casselberry City Commission Chambers. <br /> <br />5. New Business <br /> <br />A. Advisory Board Meeting Scheduling: Dr. Brock recommended that the Board <br />cancel its June meeting due to his being away at a lake management conference in <br />North Florida. Mr. Matthew Martin made a motion to cancel June's meeting. <br />The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. <br /> <br />Additionally, the Board discussed whether or not to cancel July's meeting since it was <br />close to the 4th of July holiday. Members agreed to continue with the meeting since <br />the meeting will be on July 2nd. <br /> <br />Other Business: The Board discussed the attendance history of Mrs. Terry Truong <br />and noted that she has been absent (unexcused) from several meetings. The Board's <br />Vice-- Chairman, Mr. David Manor, asked that City staff attempt to contact Mrs. <br />Truong and inquire as to her future intentions as a member of the Board. If no re- <br />sponse is obtained, Mr. Manor suggested staffmail a certified letter to the same ef- <br />fect. <br /> <br />· Dr. Brock mentioned that he will begin emailing board members a draft of the ver- <br />biage that will be used for the educational aspect of the Lake Concord 8tormwater <br />Park. Board members are encouraged to review the verbiage and provide feed- <br />back. <br /> <br />· A handout regarding the Summary of the 2008 legislative priorities was handed <br />out. A minor overview ensued. <br /> <br />· Ms. Leslie Yates expressed concern. about Longwood's attempt to put in a deep <br />well as a response to future water shortage concerns. This is just hearsay for now <br />and Ms. Yates only wanted to follow up with Dr. Brock to see nit was a valid con- <br />cern.. <br /> <br />· Mr. Matthew Martin had questions on the City's quarterly water quality reports, <br />particularly the data conceming Queens Mirror. Mr. Martin has requested to re- <br />view past reports. <br /> <br />· Mr. Dana Callan asked for contact information for relocating the alligator tpat if'? <br />in Lake Concord.
