c. 2008.2009 Fiscal Year Project Prioritization Discussion: City staff recently pro- vided justification for the Vac-Con educational wrap and other items listed as capital improvement projects list that were identified in the Stormwater, Lakes Management Master Plan. Dr. Brock mentioned that City staff are still reviewing the budget; al- though nothing has been finalized. D. Public Workshop Planning: Dr. Brock reminded the Board that the Florida Yards & Neighborhoods landscaping seminar will be held on May 15, 2008@ 6:30pm in the Casselberry City Commission Chambers. 5. New Business A. Advisory Board Meeting Scheduling: Dr. Brock recommended that the Board cancel its June meeting due to his being away at a lake management conference in North Florida. Mr. Matthew Martin made a motion to cancel June's meeting. The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. Additionally, the Board discussed whether or not to cancel July's meeting since it was close to the 4th of July holiday. Members agreed to continue with the meeting since the meeting will be on July 2nd. Other Business: The Board discussed the attendance history of Mrs. Terry Truong and noted that she has been absent (unexcused) from several meetings. The Board's Vice-- Chairman, Mr. David Manor, asked that City staff attempt to contact Mrs. Truong and inquire as to her future intentions as a member of the Board. If no re- sponse is obtained, Mr. Manor suggested staffmail a certified letter to the same ef- fect. · Dr. Brock mentioned that he will begin emailing board members a draft of the ver- biage that will be used for the educational aspect of the Lake Concord 8tormwater Park. Board members are encouraged to review the verbiage and provide feed- back. · A handout regarding the Summary of the 2008 legislative priorities was handed out. A minor overview ensued. · Ms. Leslie Yates expressed concern. about Longwood's attempt to put in a deep well as a response to future water shortage concerns. This is just hearsay for now and Ms. Yates only wanted to follow up with Dr. Brock to see nit was a valid con- cern.. · Mr. Matthew Martin had questions on the City's quarterly water quality reports, particularly the data conceming Queens Mirror. Mr. Martin has requested to re- view past reports. · Mr. Dana Callan asked for contact information for relocating the alligator tpat if'? in Lake Concord. Board members mentioned to contact the Florida Fish anj:l.:'w'ild,'- . life Conservation Commission.
