<br />The City of Casselberry Lakes Management Advisory Board held a meeting Wednesday, <br />May 7,2008 at 7:00 p.m., in the Casselberry Public Works Department, 95 Triplet Lake <br />Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707. <br /> <br /> <br />Appointed Board Members Present: <br />Dave Manor <br />Dana Callan <br />James Withrow <br />Matthew Martin <br />Leslie Yates <br /> <br />Appointed Board Members Absent: <br />Bryan Demurat (excused) <br />Anne Miller <br />Terry Truong <br />Scott Scherr (excused) <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Kelly Brock, Ph. D., P.E., CFM, City Engineer <br />Kenna Henry, Senior Staff Assistant (Recording Secretary) <br /> <br />1. Call to Order: Initially, the Board had no quorum due to the low number of <br />attendance. Mr. Manor arrived @ 7:43pm and called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call: Mrs. Terry Truong, Mrs. Anne Miller, Mr. Bryan Demurat, and Mr. <br />Scott Scherr were absent. <br /> <br />3. Approval of the LMAB Minutes of April 2, 2008: A motion was made to ap- <br />prove the minutes as presented without changes. The motion was seconded <br />and carried by voice vote. <br /> <br />4. Old Business: <br /> <br />A. Lake Concord Stormwater Park Update: Dr. Brock advised the Board that <br />the City has encountered some permitting difficulties with the stormwater park <br />due to the proposed board walk. City staffis working with the St. Johns River <br />Water Management District to address all areas of concems prior to formal sub- <br />mittal for the permit in order to expedite the process. <br /> <br />B. Secret Lake Re-vegetation Update: The Secret Lake re-vegetation project is <br />substantially complete (before/during/after photos shown); Cord grass and pick- <br />erel weed have been planted. The City is in the process of receiving a permit for <br />Bulrush. The Orlando Wetland Park will provide bulrush to the City free of <br />charge. The City is also exploring the option of planting Cypress trees in the fu- <br />ture. Also discussed was the removal of some Chinese Tallow trees (invasive spe- <br />cies) that were located on the island in Middle Lake Triplet. <br />
