<br />Scope of Worl< <br /> <br />Subtask 3.2 - Engineer's Opinion of the Probable Construction Cost <br />The ENGINEER will provide an Engineer's Opinion of the Probable Construction <br />Cost of construction for the project at the 90% completion milestones and prepare a <br />final opinion of the probable construction cost estimate at the 100% milestone. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Permit Assistance <br /> <br />Since the weir shall be designed as an "in-kind" replacement weir with the same flow <br />capacity, it has been assumed that a No-Notice General Permit will be required. <br />Therefore, the application will require submittal of pre- and post-project flow <br />calculations (to verify the weir has the same flow capacity) and a set of plans to <br />SJRWMD for review. This task shall include one (1) pre-application meeting with <br />SJRWMD discuss the objectives of the overall project and to confirm the level of <br />permitting needed for the proposed improvements. If a different type of permit <br />application, or more detailed information be required by the district, the ENGINEER <br />will prepare an additional scope of services as an amendment to this contract. <br /> <br />Task 5 - Meetings and Coordination <br /> <br />Subtask 5.1 - Meetings and Coordination <br />In addition to the meetings previously defined, the ENGINEER will participate in one <br />progress meetings following the CITY's design review for comment <br /> <br />Task 6 - Bidding Services <br /> <br />No bidding services are included within this scope of services. It is anticipated that <br />the CITY will be responsible for all bidding services. Any services rendered by the <br />ENGINEER during the bidding phase of the project shall be considered outside the <br />Scope of Services and negotiated separately. <br /> <br />Task 7 - Limited General Construction Services <br /> <br />The ENGINEER will attend the pre-construction meeting to answer questions or <br />provide clarification. The ENGINEER will review and approve up to six (6) shop <br />drawings during the construction process. The ENGINEER will contract with the <br />geotechnical sub consultant to provide one part-time resident project representative <br />(RPR) for 2 hours a day, over an estimated 6-week construction schedule. The <br />ENGINEER will coordinate construction activities with the sub consultant. <br /> <br />III. Schedules and Time Constraints <br /> <br />It has been assumed that this project shall be designed, bid, and constructed within <br />the next 6 months. Within ten days after the Notice to Proceed, the ENGINEER shall <br />provide the CITY a project schedule. <br /> <br />IV. Compensation <br /> <br />Payment will be in accordance with the CITY's Engineering Services Agreement. <br />Total Compensation for services, materials, supplies, and any other items or <br />requirements necessary to complete the work, will be on a Lump Sum basis.
