<br />EXHIBIT 1 <br /> <br />Scope of Services: <br /> <br />1. Plans and Specifications <br /> <br />This is an emergency repair of erosion along the southwestern bank of the canal <br />adjacent to the paved trail (Ivey Road) in Secret Lake Park. The canal runs from <br />North Lake Triplett to Lake Kathryn. <br /> <br />a. We will use the standard front end contract documents of the City for the <br />specifications and the contract provisions. We will work with staff to generate <br />the specification documents by "filling" in the necessary blanks of these <br />documents. <br />b. The technical specifications will be contained on the plans. <br />c. We will develop a cover sheet. <br />d. We will develop a general notes sheet specifically for the project. <br />e. We will develop/design a site plan for the project. <br />f. We will develop design details required for the project. <br /> <br />2. Topographic Survey <br /> <br />Perform a Topographic Survey of 600:!: linear feet of the canal that connects North <br />Lake Triplet and Lake Kathryn. The limits of the survey will be from the beginning of <br />the canal near the northwest corner of Lake Triplet and run 600:t linear feet <br />northwesterly. The survey will be performed per Chapter 61G17-6 of the Florida <br />Administrative Code in compliance with the minimum technical standards of <br />surveying and mapping of the State of Florida. <br /> <br />a. Provide topographic information within the limits of the project area at 100 <br />foot cross sections including top of bank, toe of slope, bottom elevations and <br />edge of water. <br />b. Provide topographic information on Ivey Road to the limits of the project <br />area. <br />c. Trees 6" diameter breast height (dbh) and greater will be located and <br />identified along the banks of the canal. <br /> <br />3. Soils Consultant <br /> <br />CPH will retain the services of a soils consultant to investigate the soils conditions in <br />the area of pile placement The soils consultant scope of work is attached. <br />
