<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at 6:30 <br /> <br />P.M., in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />Members present were: <br />Ed Bowman, Chairman <br />Mary Anne Gauvin, Vice-Chairman <br />Earl McMullen <br />Luis Guzman <br /> <br />Members absent were: <br />Arlin Armour <br /> <br />Staff members present: <br />Charles Senzee, Planner <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br /> <br />First Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, November 15,2007. <br /> <br />Mr. Bowman stated the Chair would entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes for the public hearing held <br /> <br />on Thursday, November 15, 2007. Mr. McMullen moved to accept the November 15, 2007 minutes. Ms. Gauvin <br /> <br />seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Secon.s!.Jtem of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. <br /> <br />There was no disclosure of ex-parte communications. <br /> <br />Third Item of Business: BA 08-01: 831 Moonlit Lanel Michael Savino. Variance request to Chapter II, Article VII, <br />Section 2-7.10c, "Residential Fences and Walls" to allow a six foot tall (72 inch) vinyl fence forward of the main <br />building line of a residential property in lieu of the required maximum three foot tall (36 inch) fence. <br /> <br />Mr. Bowman asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Michael Savino said he would prefer the City make their <br /> <br />presentation first. <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Senzee, Planner, reviewed the background information and the analysis ofthe request, provided in <br /> <br />his memorandum to the Board of Adjustment, dated February 19, 2008 (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br /> <br />Department). Mr. Senzee identified the location of the fenced area that would be allowed by Code. <br /> <br />Mr. Senzee said staff is requesting the applicant continue the hedge along the proposed fence area and the <br /> <br />fence must be relocated from the landscape easement to the utility easement.
