RESOLUTION 08-1917 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH CASSELBERRY LITTLE LEAGUE TO UTILIZE FACILITIES AT WIRZ PARK AND SECRET LAKE PARK, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City is owner of certain real property located in Casselberry, Florida, commonly known as Wirz Park and Secret Lake Park; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Little League has provided the youth of Casselberry with the opportunity to play baseball and softball for well over two decades; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Little League desires to continue utilizing the baseball fields in Wirz Park and Secret Lake Park for the purposes of practice and games; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Little League has agreed to increase associated fees for use of the baseball fields and has agreed to increase volunteer labor help to assist with the maintenance of said ball fields. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Agreement with Casselberry Little League (attached as Exhibit "A") and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
