<br />Community Redevelopment Agency <br />March 31. 2008 <br />Page 4 015 <br /> <br />Lipscomb suggested the City contact Florida Department of Transportation regarding the status of the US Highway <br /> <br />17/92 & State Road 436 intersection improvement project. It was decided a status on the project would be provided <br /> <br />at a special meeting scheduled for April 7, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Mr. McGregor made a motion to approve the PBS&J <br /> <br />invoice. Ms. Campbell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Concerning the Anniversary Stormwater Park design contact, Mr. Kelly Brock, City Engineer, said CDM has <br /> <br />completed 60% of the plans and staff is currently reviewing those plans. He said a formal presentation for the project <br /> <br />would be made at the April 18, 2008 CRA Retreat. He said staff met with the St. Johns River Water Management <br /> <br />District and staff is planning to submit for permitting in approximately one month. Mr. Daigle made a motion to <br /> <br />approve the CDM invoice. Mr. McGregor seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Eighth Item of Business: Old Business <br /> <br />There was no old business before the board. <br /> <br />Ninth Item of Business: Public Comment <br /> <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry <br /> <br />suggested renting the Quail Pond Circle property to law enforcement personnel at a reduced rate. Mr. Casselberry <br /> <br />suggested shifting the focus of the flyover project to other things that are peripheral related to the project such as <br /> <br />traffic light enhancements. <br /> <br />Mr. Casselberry suggested the City of Casselberry get involve with traffic synchronization to help traffic flow <br /> <br />issues. <br /> <br />Ms. Charlene Glancy expressed a concern with the completion of the design plans for the US Highway <br /> <br />17/92 flyover project due to the delay or possible elimination of the project. Ms. Glancy questioned the ability of the <br /> <br />Florida Department of Transportation to allow the City the opportunity to complete the design plans at the time the <br /> <br />flyover project is funded. <br /> <br />Ms. Lipscomb said there has been some discussion about the County RPA area and the RPA Executive <br /> <br />Director. She said he has not been appointed to the CRA; however, there is some desire on behalf of the City <br /> <br />Commission and the County RPA Executive Director to allow him to serve in some capacity such as an ex officio to <br /> <br />the CRA. Ms. Lipscomb said the bylaws may need to be revised to accommodate that request. She said that Mr. <br />
