Community Redevelopment Agency
January 11, 2008

A general discussion ensued regarding the road projects and decorative lighting along the US

Highway 17-92 corridor. Mr. Metsopoulos said Seminole County has a sign program and he would bring

that information to the next CRA meeting. He said the plan is to have the same decorative signage

throughout the corridor; however, in each municipality the sign would include the city logo. He said the

signage would provide cohesiveness throughout the corridor.

Seventh Item of Business: Public Comment

Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr.

Casselberry questioned the mortgages on the "Nebel" property. Mr. Casselberry felt the Nebel buildings

have historical value. Mr. Casselberry said he could design something beneficial as an alternative site that

would be good for both parties if he was provided a copy of a scaled drawing of the three parcels adjacent

to the Target parcel. Mr. Casselberry questioned the borings that were discussed earlier in the meeting. He

said grout is added to borings on land and suggested grouting of the boring areas should be verified.

Mr. Casselberry suggested the City prepare a map of the City depicting the anchor stores to

determine areas that may be underserved. He said that the CRA goal should be redevelopment and felt

increasing densities was not a valid goal.

Ms. Lillian Selph, Quail Pond Circle, Casselberry, Florida came forward. She thought the total

mortgages on the Nebel property was $381,000 and estimated that Mr. Rubin has $381,000 plus cost

invested in the building.

A general discussion ensued regarding the historical value of the structures on the Nebel property.

Eighth Item of Business: Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was

Tapes of the meeting are available as a matter of public record.
