Mr. Gil stated that he was hoping to get an extension. They had estimates and they have been <br />astronomical and they need an extension of 5-6 months to get the money all together to get the tree removed. There <br />was another tree next to this tree was at vvere to some <br />tree. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Henderson asked what renovations were done at this property. <br /> <br />Mr. Gil stated there was a site <br /> <br /> <br />parking and added <br /> <br />Mr. Henderson asked if the hold up was the price of the tree removal. <br /> <br />Charlene Glancy asked what prices they had received. <br /> <br />Mr. Gil stated that it was $2150.00 for just the tree and not the stump removal, this \vas about the cheapest. <br /> <br />Mr. Gil continued testimony. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br /> <br />Kathleen A. Hale made a motion that CEB Case # 07-02364 be continued to the 04/1 0/2008 Code Entorcement <br />Board Meeting or the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br /> <br />Charlene Glancy seconded the motion. <br /> <br />motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />CE-07-02430 No business tax receipt 26.33 & 26.35 605 Zinnia Drive Boarders. David <br />(owner) <br /> <br />Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Officer, gave testimony. This case originated from the Casselberry Police <br />Department, they had been summoned to the rcsidence by an employee of the business wanting to claim personal <br />property. There was a disturbance handled by the Police Department and then they followed-up to see in fact the <br />business had the appropriate business license and taxes paid. Upon review the City discovered they did not have <br />appropriate permit or business tax receipt. Notice was to the property owner, Daniel Borders on 11/27/2007 <br />with a date certain of 12/04/2007. A follow-up inspection was conducted on 0 1/03/2008 by CEO Lawrence; the <br />business tax receipt had not been applied for. On 01/07/2008 Notice of Code Violation and Request for Hearing was <br />mailed to Daniel Borders the property/business owner with a date certain for compliance of 02/13/2008. On <br />01/31/2008 the Certified mail was retumed, and on 02/0112008 the property owner Daniel Borders was hand served <br />by CEO Brown. Mr. Brown spoke with Mr. Borders on 02/0l/2008 regarding the business, as to the tY'Pe of business <br />he was operating. Mr. Borders claimed that he was doing security transactions involving fortune 500 companies on <br />China mainland. Mr. Borders indicated that they were looking for another location to relocate to. of 02/14/2008 <br />application has not been received, nor has the business tax receipt been issued to Mr. Borders. <br />
