Mr. Lawrence stated that the violations were first <br />observed by her on 02/22/2008 and that the property owner Cynthia Roberts is in the audience to ask for an <br />extension of deadline. The property owner at this time is asking for a two week extension. Ms. Lawrence advised <br />that she would only recommend the two weeks as Ms. Roberts had already received and extension from the 1 ih to <br />the 19th after calling Brenda Jones in the Code Enforcement office. Ms. Roberts is attempting to comply, some of <br />the trash & debris she was cited for has been removed she just hasn't gotten to all of it; the front lawn has been <br />mowed however she hasn't been able to complete the back. Mr. Lawrence then showed the Code Enforcement <br />Board photos of the property. Ms. Lawrence continued. <br /> <br />Charlene Glancy asked of all the work to be completed what percentage has been completed. <br /> <br />Ms. Lawrence replied about 30%, the vehicle has not been registered, mowed about 1/3 of the property and most of <br />the trash has been taken care of. <br /> <br />Cynthia Roberts, 31 1 Concord Drive gave testimony. Ms. Roberts stated that her daughter will be helping with <br />landscaping and finishing the front and the sides. Ms. Roberts continued. <br /> <br />Kathleen A. Hale asked Ms. Roberts thought 2 weeks would be enough time. <br /> <br />Ms. Roberts hoped that 2 weeks would be enough time and it was her intention to have it finished in that amount of <br />time. Ms. Roberts continued. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br /> <br />Alvera Armour made a motion that CEB Case #'s 08-00346, 08-00347 and 08-00348 be continued to the <br />05/08/2008 Code Enforcement Board Meeting, or to the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br /> <br />Charlene Glancy seconded the motion. <br /> <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />CE-08-00379 Large vehicle w/ attachments 3-10.9 A~1~C,3 1173 Park Drive Pusateri, John <br />& Debra/owners <br /> <br />Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor. Gave testimony and advised that this is a new presentation on the <br />revised parking ordinances. Mr. Brown advised that there has been considerable concem from the community. Mr. <br />Brown read the ordinance to the Board Members and advised that this residence has the ability to comply they have <br />a garage, however there are many residence that neither a carport nor a garage. Mr. Brown stated that the racks on <br />the van are not a common item routinely found when you buy a van at a car lot those racks are not part of this as <br />standard equipment they are in fact designed to carry and haul equipment. Mr. Brown stated that these racks meet <br />the criteria of the ordinance and that we were looking for direction from the Board in enforcing these actions. The <br />residents were present to speak about these matters. <br />
