<br />2ITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING <br />JUNE 12, 2008 PAGE 7 <br /> <br />Mr. Rubin stated he told Mr. Lander to do what ever he wants to do and ifhe wants to buy the property, he can keep the <br />building. Mr. Rubin stated Mr. Lander believes he can make a deal with the City and maybe do something great over <br />there. Mr. Rubin stated he wanted to do that, but was not able to with the city, maybc he is not the right person, and it <br />scems like Mr. Lander is. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br /> <br />Mr. Rubin stated this is a terrific piece of property, and could be a great thing for Casselberry; Hank could be the guy <br />who docs it. <br /> <br />Mr. Henderson stated basically what is bctore the Board is that they have askcd the City to got thirty days then asked for <br />sixty days, he is not opposed to giving them those sixty days, he is opposed to giving sixty one days or any day there <br />after. Mr. Henderson is not opposed to giving sixty days if the Board so chooses. <br /> <br />Charlene Glancy made a motion that CEB Case # 08-00635 be continued to thc 08/14/2008 Code Enforccmcnt Board <br />meeting, or to the next regularly scheduled meeting. <br /> <br />Alvera Anllour seconded the motion. <br /> <br />The motion did not pass unanimously, Mr. Henderson voted nay, all others voted aye. <br /> <br />CE-08-00643 Disabled/unlicensed vehide(s) 254 Lake Ellen Drive Schnell, Trov/owne.' <br /> <br />Luis Rivera, Code Enforcement Officer, stated that this case originated on 04/03/2008 when he drove by the rear 01'254 <br />Lake Ellen Drive. CEO Rivera observed a vehicle at the back of the property covered with a tarp, the vehicle had <br />apparent damage and had no tag. CEO Rivera made contact with the propeliy owner; Troy Schnell about the violations, <br />during the conversation CEO Rivera observed three vehicles in the back yard. The three vehicles were visible due to the <br />damaged fence. CEO Rivera could see that neither of the three vehicles were tagged, the owner was askcd ifthey were <br />tagged and he stated that they were not. CEO Rivera gave the owner two weeks to have the vehicles tagged or they would <br />have to be removed. CEO Rivera retumed to the propeliy two weeks later on 04/18/2008, the vehicle \\lith the tarp was <br />removed, but the other three remained at the location. <br />A Notice of Code Violation was scnt to Mr. Schnell with a compliance date of 04/25/2008, an inspection was done on <br />04/30/2008 were it was found that thc three vehicles in question were still there and the case was submitted to be heard at <br />this hearing 06112/2008. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br /> <br />CEO Rivera inspected the property this moming 06/12/2008 and at that time the yellow vehicle of the three has been <br />removed. <br /> <br />Phillip Weekley asked how many cars are there now. <br /> <br />CEO Rivera stated there are two, the blue and the green. <br /> <br />Mr. 'Weekley asked how CEO Rivera is getting a picture. <br /> <br />CEO Rivera stated he obtained the photos thru an opening in the fence. <br /> <br />Charlene Glancy asked ifboth cars rCl11aining are disabled. <br />
