No one came forward. <br /> <br />Mr. Buchanan asked for a motion to address CU 07-15. Mr. Henson recommended approval of CU 07-15. Mr. <br /> <br />Aramendia seconded the motion. Mr. Henson amended his motion stating approval was based on the staff <br /> <br />dated May <br /> <br />22, 2008 from Ms. Smith to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Presentation to be <br />made by the consultant, CUf Tate, Kimley-Horn. <br /> <br />Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, introduced Mr. Clif Tate from Kimley-Horn to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Clif Tate presented a PowerPoint presentation regarding the Transportation Concurrency Exception Area (TCEA) Study. <br /> <br />A copy of the presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes. Mr. Tate stated that Altamonte Springs and Sanford <br /> <br />have received a transportation concurrency exception area and several adjacent municipalities and Seminole County are <br /> <br />pursuing a TCEA. Mr. Tate said the TCEA is an incentive to redevelopment. <br /> <br />Mr. Buchanan asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the <br /> <br />request. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South lost lake lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry questioned <br /> <br />the level of service numbers, the TCEA boundary area and infill development. Mr. Casselberry expressed a concern about a <br /> <br />mixed use plan with residential in an area that typically is not used for residential. Mr. Casselberry advised caution with broad <br /> <br />description of possible uses. <br />
