Also opposes screening and setback requirements in the <br />ordinance. <br />8) Andy Gaba, 111 Lemon Lane, Casselberry, Florida - citing the cost of storage for <br />recreational vehicles as one of his main o~jections to the ordinance. Also opposes <br />setbacks and screening. <br />9) Jerry Dacus, 299 Lake Griffin Circle, Casselberry, Florida - recreational vehicles are not <br />detrimental to a neighborhood; regulations are unnecessary. <br />10) Steven Schlottman, 380 Piney Ridge Road, Casselberry, Florida - ordinance is not <br />complaint driven and should be denied. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Jon Miller to deny Ordinance 08-1238. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Colleen S. <br />Hufford. <br /> <br />After discussion, the consensus of the Commission was to direct staff to amend Ordinance <br />08-1238 for the second reading to delete the 25' length requirement, screening in the side <br />yard, setbacks - vehicles to be parked behind the main living quarters of the house, rather <br />than behind the front line of the house; (4) change the effective date of the ordinance to ten <br />(10) days after passage. Ordinance repeals Section 3-1O.9(A)(2) and Section 3-10.9(A)(3) <br />and Section 3-1O.9(B) ofthe Unified Land Development Regnlations. <br /> <br />MOTION on the floor and the second to the Motion were withdrawn by <br />Commissioner Jon Miller and Vice Mayor/Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Jon Miller to adopt Ordinance 08-1238 <br />with the amendments (1) deletion of25'Iength requirement; (2) <br />eliminates screening in the side yard; (3) vehicles to be parked <br />behind the main living quarters of the house, rather than behind the <br />front line of the house; (4) change the effective date to ten (10) days <br />after adoption of the ordinance. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried unanimously on a 5 - 0 <br />voice vote. <br /> <br />The second reading and final public hearing for Ordinance 08-1238 will be on March 24, <br />2008. <br /> <br />10.
