Resolution 08-1867 - Parking Agreement with South Seminole Lodge No. 364 Free <br />and Accepted Masons of Florida <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 08-1867 by title as follows: <br /> <br />. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />THE EXECUTION OF A PARKING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SOUTH <br />SEMINOLE LODGE 364 OF THE FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF FLORIDA <br />AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY: PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />StaffPreseutation bv Barbara Lipscomb, City Maual!er: Resolution 08-1867 formalizes <br />a reciprocal parking agreement between the City of Casselberry and the Masonic Lodge on <br />Triplet Lake Drive. The agreement allows for overflow parking during large City sponsored <br />events and to allow the Masonic Lodge to utilize the City's public parking areas for overflow <br />parking events sponsored by the Lodge. The agreement provides for insurance coverage by both <br />parties. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approve Resolution 08-1867 as presented. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve Resolutiou 08- <br />1867, Parking Agreement witb the Masonic Lodge, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Jon Miller and carried <br />unanimously on a 4 - 0 voice vote. <br /> <br />12. Other Items <br /> <br />A. Joiut City/Couuty Advisory Committee - Commissioner Doerner stated that the <br />meeting was delayed until March 2008. No report. <br /> <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) - No report. <br /> <br />C. City Center Steering Committee - No report. <br /> <br />D. U.S. 17-92/S.R. 436 Flyover Project - No report. <br /> <br />E. Council of Local Governments iu Seminole County (CALNO) - No report <br /> <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Plauuing Agency - Commissioner Solomon reported <br />on a bus tour conducted on February 21, 2008 showing projects in Maitland. <br /> <br />G. Envision Seminole Board - Commissioner Miller reported on meeting held February 15, <br />2008. Items discussed were State Investment problems, Commuter Rail problems and the effect <br />of Amendment 1 on municipalities. Leadership Seminole classes will start on August 7 and 8, <br />2008; deadline for registration is June 16,2008. <br />
