<br />City Commission Meeting <br />January 14, 2008 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Le!!al Advertisement: Advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on December 27, 2007. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation hv Sandra Smith. Chief Planner: Ordinance 07-123] will administratively <br />amend the Future Land Use Map classification of property previously annexed on October 22, <br />2007. This Small Scale Future Land Use Amendment will change the Future Land Use <br />designation from Seminole County Industrial to City of Casselberry Industrial. The site is <br />approximately 0.81 acres, which is surrounded by industrial uses and corresponding zoning <br />designations. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval to the City <br />Commission of the Small Scale Amendment at their meeting of November 14,2007. The City <br />Commission, at their meeting of December] 0,2007, unanimously approved Ordinance 07-1231 <br />on first reading. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approval of Ordinance 07-1231, for the Future Land Use Map <br />(FLUM) designation change for property located at 380 Oleander Way, as presented. <br /> <br />Audience InDnt: None <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve Ordinance 07- <br />1231, Small Scale Fnture Land Use Amendment, LPA 07-07 (380 <br />Oleander Way) as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor/Commissioner Colleen S. Hnfford and carried unanimously <br />on a 5 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />B. Ordinance 07-1232 - Zoning Map Amendment, ZB 07-04 - 380 Oleander Way <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 07-] 232 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE <br />IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; <br />ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF I (INDUSTRIAL) FOR THE <br />PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Le!!al Advertisement: Advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on December 27, 2007. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation bv Gerald Paradise. Community Development Director: Ordinance 07- <br />1232 will administratively amend the Official Zoning Map classification for property previously <br />annexed at 380 Oleander Way from Seminole County ]ndustrial to City of Casselberry Industrial. <br />The property is surrounded by industrial uses located on properties with corresponding industrial <br />future land use and zoning classifications. The property is less than 10 acres (0.81) and will be <br />processed as a Small Scale Map amending according to Statutes and does not require Department <br />of Community Affairs review. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of <br />this land use amendment on November ]4, 2007. This action is consistent and compatible with <br />the proposed Industrial Future Land Use Amendment approved in the previous item. <br />
