Article II. Civil Service Board, of Chapter 62, Personnel, is amended <br />and renumbered to Article II, Civil Service Board, of Chapter 52, Human Resources, and <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />CHAPTER 52 HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />. . . <br /> <br />ARTICLE II. CIVIL SERVICE BOARD. <br /> <br />Sec. 62.3652.2.1.. Membership; term of office. <br />The Civil Service Board shall be composed of five members appointed as follows: <br /> <br />(a) The members shall be appoinled by the City Manager with approval of the City Commission, and <br />shall be qualified electors of the City. They shall not, during the term for which thoy are appoinled, <br />be employed in any manner by the City. <br /> <br />(b) Board members appointed by the City Manager and approved by the City Commission shall be <br />appointed for two-year terms as follows: <br /> <br />(1) Two members shall be appointed in each even-numbered year. <br />(2) Three members shall be appointed in each odd-numbered year. <br /> <br />Sec. 62.3752.22. Vacancies. <br /> <br />{atWhen a vacancy occurs in the Civil Service Board, BY eitRor tRe resignation, doatR er removal of a <br />memBer, the City Manager shall, subject to the approval of the City Commission, appoint a new member <br />qualifying under Section 52.21.
