Second Reading of Ordinance 07-1225 - Future Land Use Map (FLUM) Amendment- <br />LPA 07-03 (Lochrane Engineering) - Continued from the September 24,2007 Meeting <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 07-1225 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP, ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATION OF HI/MDR (HIGH INTENSITY NON-RESIDENTlAUMEDIUM <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) FOR THE PARCELS AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF <br />THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Lel!al Advertisement: Advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on October 4,2007. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 07-1225 was continued from the meeting of September 24, 2007 <br />in order to address issues pertaining to the traffic patterns. The ordinance will amend the Future <br />Land Use Map (FLUM) classification to High Intensity Non ResidentiallMedium Intensity <br />Residential (HI/MDR) for seven properties (6.79 acres) located near 5655 South Highway 17-92 <br />near the Casselberry Exchange. This is a small scale Future Land Use Amendment and will not <br />require review by the Department of Community Affairs. <br /> <br />Lee Mullon with Lochrane Engineering was present and available for questions on behalf of the <br />applicant.. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: Approval of ordinance 07-1225 on second reading and fmal public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Audience InDut - None - (Pursuant to State Statutes, a sign in sheet was available for individuals <br />wishing to speak on this item.) <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to approve Ordinance <br />07-1225, Future Land Use Map Amendment, LPA 07-03, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Jon Miller and <br />carried unanimously on a 5 - 0 voice vote. <br /> <br />B. Second Reading of Ordinance 07-1226 - Zoning Map Amendment - ZB 07-01 (Lochrane <br />Engineering) Continued from the September 24, 2007 Meeting <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 07-1226 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE <br />IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; <br />ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS OF PMX-H (pLANNED MIXED <br />USE: IDGH INTENSITY) FOR THE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS <br />
