Departmental Presentation - Fire Prevention, Inspections & Investigations by <br />Tim Ippolito, Fire Marshal <br /> <br />The presentation included National Fire Statistics, i.e. Fire Rescue, Fire Prevention, <br />Investigations, Inspections and Plan Reviews. The complete power point presentation is attached <br />to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />7. Citizens' Comments: <br /> <br />The Mayor stated that persons who wish to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on <br />the Agenda may do so at this time. Please raise your hand to be recognized, give your name and <br />address to speak on any matter. All comments are to be directed to the Mayor and City <br />Commission. If you wish to be heard during Public Hearings, you will be recognized at that time. <br /> <br />The following individual came forward to address the Commission: <br /> <br />1) Bob Buckley, 239 Lake Ellen Drive, Casselberry, Florida, speaking on behalf of the <br />Women's Art Caucus, invited the Commission to an Art Exhibit and reception on October <br />11,2007, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Casselberry Art House. <br /> <br />2) Joe Rosier, Citizen of Lake Mary, introduced himself to the Commission as a Candidate for <br />State Representative House Seat 34 in upcoming November 6, 2007 Election. <br /> <br />8. Consent Agenda <br /> <br />The following items are presented for approval on the Consent Agenda. There is no discussion <br />on individual items unless the item is removed from the Consent Agenda by a City Commission <br />member and a single motion will approve all items. <br /> <br />A. Budget Transfer - Donation from Police Department State Forfeiture Fund to the City's <br />Halloween Spooktacular Event - $500.00. Funds will be utilized to purchase decorating <br />supplies for the event. <br /> <br />B. Budget Transfer - Donation from Wal-Mart Corporation to the Fire Department's First <br />Annual Community Day - $1,000.00. Funds utilized to offset expenses associated with <br />the Fire Department's First Annual Community Day event that was held on September <br />29,2007. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve <br />Consent Agenda as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford and carried unanimously on a <br />5 - 0 voice vote. <br />
