<br />City Commission Meeting <br />July23, 2007 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Sandra T. Solomon and carried unanimously. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />9. Public Hearings: <br /> <br />A. Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance 07-1212 - Anchor Road <br />Annexation - Approval requested to continue Ordinance 07-1212 indefinitely. <br /> <br />StaffPresentation/Recommendation: The Community Development Director stated that the <br />applicant for the Anchor Road Annexation has agreed to an indefinite continuance of this item to <br />allow the City and the County an opportunity to work on a Joint Planning Agreement. Staff <br />recommended continuance of the Anchor Road Annexation to a date uncertain. <br /> <br />Mr. Don Mentor, Deputy County Attorney, was present and stated that the County would support <br />the opportunity to work on a Joint Planning Agreement with regard to the annexation of the <br />Anchor Road property. Ms. Doreen DeBord, Planning Director for Seminole County, clarified a <br />letter dated July 12, 2007 from the County Manager, that stated the Joint Planning Agreement <br />would be for the entire City and not just for the Anchor Road property. <br /> <br />During discussion, the Commission expressed their disappointment with the County on this <br />specific annexation issue. Staff was asked to meet with the County and convey the desires of the <br />Commission to work on a small area Joint Planning Agreement for this specific annexation in <br />light of time restraints on the applicant for this commercial project. Commission reiterated their <br />desire to cooperate with the County to move the viable project forward; project would create <br />employment opportunities and greatly benefit the Community. Commission requested a report <br />back from the County by August 13,2007. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Jon Miller to continue Ordinance 07-1212, <br />Anchor Road Annexation, to August 27, 2007 with a report from the <br />County regarding the Joint Planning Agreement by August 13, 2007. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Susan Doerner <br />and carried unanimously. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />B. Public Hearing & Second Reading of Ordinance 07-1215 - Revisions to ULDR <br />Section 3-10-.9, Parking of Recreational Equipment in Residential Districts - Request Approval <br />of revisions to the City Code regarding parking of recreational equipment in residential districts. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 07-1215 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF 'CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING PART Ill, ARTICLE <br />X, SECTION 3-10.9 OF THE CASSELBERRY CODE OF ORDINANCES ENTITLED "PARKING OF <br />VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS" BY REPEALING SECTION (A)(2), "RECREATIONAL <br />VEHICLES AND VESSELS", SECTION (A)(3), "CAMPING VEHICLES" AND SECTION 3-IO.9(B), <br />"PARKING AND STORAGE OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES, VESSELS, AND CAMPING <br />VEHICLES IN MULTI-FAMILY DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS"; ESTABLISHING SECTION <br />2, "RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT", PROVIDING A DEFINITION FOR RECREATIONAL <br />EQUIPMENT, DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS <br />AND MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS PROVIDING PARKING <br />
