<br />City Commission Meeting <br />June 25, 2007 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />2) Pat Rose, Aquatic Biologist, 580 Queens Mirror Circle, Casselberry, FL, opined on the <br />water quality alternatives presentation and urged Commission to support this endeavor. <br />He also spoke favorable regarding the City's Lakes Management Advisory Board. <br /> <br />3) Hank Lander, 445 Surrey Run, Casselberry, FL, chastised the Mayor for his unbecoming <br />chairmanship he exhibited toward Commissioner Doerner at the June II, 2007 meeting. <br />He suggested the Mayor apologize to Commissioner Doerner or be reprimanded by the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />4) Fred Perring, 2585 Tuscaloosa Trail, Maitland, FL, spoke in opposition to the manner in <br />which the City conducted the annexation information recently distributed to its water <br />customers outside the City. <br /> <br />5) Lawrence Steffy, President, Winter Woods Homeowners Association, complimented the <br />City on its water service but criticized the approach the City took in the annexation <br />recruitment and suggested the City change its approach on this issue. <br /> <br />6) Danelle Dobbs, 2945 Watumpa Trail, Maitland, FL, stated that the information <br />disseminated by the City regarding annexation was confusing and using water service to <br />coerce residents into annexing into the City was illegal. <br /> <br />7) Craig Tull, 420 Ranch Trail, Casselberry, FL, spoke in opposition to the Parking <br />ordinances currently being considered by the Commission, specifically the section <br />limiting working trucks with ladder racks designed to transport tools and equipment. He <br />asked that the Commission reconsider this legislation for the safety and wellbeing ofthe <br />citizens of Casselberry. <br /> <br />8) Mark Sprung, 1378 Chilean Lane, Unincorporated Seminole County, spoke in opposition <br />to the annexation proposal outlined on the green card that was mailed out by the City to <br />the unincorporated residents to annex into the City or loose their water service. <br /> <br />9) Bruce Wiley, 2264 High Street, President of the Tanglewood Subdivision Homeowners <br />Association, stated that his subdivision was very happy with Seminole County service <br />and was opposed to annexing into the City of Casselberry. <br /> <br />10) Robert Bowles, 2585 Sweetwater Trail, stated he was very satisfied with Casselberry <br />Utilities but was strongly opposed to annexing into the City of Casselberry. <br /> <br />II) John Massey, 2491 Fielding Woods Road, English Woods Homeowners' Association <br />Member spoke in opposition to method used by the City regarding the annexation process <br />and the members of his Homeowners' Association liked their Maitland mailing address <br />and was not interested in annexing into the City of Casselberry. <br />
