Resolution 07-1795 - Ambulance Fees Rate Increase <br /> <br />The Resolution Title is as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />CODE SECTION 42-97(c)(I); REVISION IN RATE STRUCTURE AND <br />TRANSPORT FEE TO CONFORM WITH THE MEDICARE FEE SCHEDULE; <br />AND PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Approval to increase Ambulance Fees to conform with Medicare's National Ambulance Fee Schedule was <br />requested. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 07 -1796 - Subordination of Utility Interests Agreement between Progress Energy Florida, <br />Inc. and the City of Casselberry <br /> <br />The Resolution Title is as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />THE EXECUTION OF A SUBORDINATION OF UTILITY INTERESTS <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND PROGRESS <br />ENERGY FLORIDA, INC.; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Approval of this agreement, which grants permission from Progress Energy Florida to the City to build the <br />North Winter Park Drive extension to S.R. 434 through a major segment of their existing transmission utility <br />corridor, was requested. <br /> <br />D. Distribution of Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Funds for FY 2007/2008 <br /> <br />The Grant Funds will allow the Police Department to purchase twelve (12) rifles and six (6) shotguns. After <br />receipt of the funds, the budget will need to be increased $20,000. Approval of the proposed distribution of <br />grant funds for projects within Seminole County was requested. <br /> <br />E. Modifications to the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG-Direct) Program Award and Related Budget <br />Transfer <br /> <br />Approval was requested to change the software provider and equipment originally listed in the grant <br />application and subsequently awarded to the Police Department for computer-based training software. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve the Consent Agenda as <br />submitted. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford and <br />carried unanimously by voice vote. (5-0) <br />
