Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 11 <br /> <br />OR MAKING DELIVERIES; AMENDING CASSELBERRY CODE OF ORDINANCES, <br />PART II, CHAPTER 82, SECTION 82-127 ENTITLED "TRUCK PARKING IN <br />RESIDENTIAL AREAS" AND SECTION 82.134 ENTITLED "PARKING OF LARGE <br />VEHICLES" TO PROVIDE CONSISTENCY WITH PART III, ARTICLE X, SECTION <br />3-10.9; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 06-1194 was published in <br />the Orlando Sentinel on March 15, 2007. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation and Recommendation: Ms. Barbara Lipscomb, City Manager stated the new <br />Community Development Director, Gerald Paradise, was conducting further review and research for <br />Ordinance 06-1194, and recommended the item be continued to a date certain of May 14, 2007. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Doerner moved to continue Ordinance 06- <br />1194 to a date certain of May 14, 2007. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br /> <br />No ordinances were presented for first reading. <br /> <br />11. RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />A. RESOLUTION 07-1784 - COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30. 2006 - PRESENTED BY DAN <br />O'KEEFE. AUDITOR <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 07-1784 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2006; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Presentation: Mr. Dan O'Keefe of Moore, Stephens, Lovelace, P.A., presented an overview of the <br />Comprehensive Annual Finance Report (CAFR) for Fiscal Year 2006. Pursuant to Florida Statute <br />requirements, the City's financial staff and external auditor have prepared and published the CAFR. The <br />independent auditor concluded, based upon the audit, that there was a reasonable basis for rendering an <br />unqualified opinion that the City's financial statements for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2006 are <br />fairly represented in conformity with accepted governmental accounting principles and are free of material <br />misstatements. <br />
