Reported a brief was filed on behalf of the City with the U.S. Supreme Court in the Rachel's case <br />and she would inform the City Commission when a decision is reached on the case. <br /> <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />17. CITY COMMISSION REPORTS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat #2: <br /> <br />. Reported he had spoken with the Public Relations Coordinator from Metro Rail and she has agreed <br />to add Casselberry to their website (www.ctlrail.com) and on all future promotional materials. <br />. Announced he will be attending the Florida League of Cities' Legislative Action Day March 28, <br />2007 in Tallahassee and had meetings scheduled with Senator Constantine and Representative <br />Mealor to discuss the impacts of the proposed property tax reforms. <br />. Announced the Casselberry Rotary Club will be holding its second annual International Folk Festival <br />on Saturday, April 14, 2007 behind City Hall. <br />. Announced he will be attending the Police Department Awards Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, <br />March 29, 2007. <br /> <br />Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford - Seat #4: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Congratulated Commissioner Miller and Commissioner Solomon for their completion of the 2007 <br />Institute for Elected Municipal Officials. <br />Reported Dr. Sorello of Seminole County gave an informative presentation to Leadership Seminole <br />regarding surface watertreatrnent. Noted Dr. Sorello was very complimentary of Casselberry Public <br />Works staff and the City's continued efforts toward water conservation. <br />Reported it had come to her attention that an employee was approached by a member of the City <br />Commission regarding the possible loss of their employment, and she felt that was inappropriate <br />behavior for a member of the City Commission to be talking about termination of employment <br />directly with an employee. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sandra T. Solomon - Seat #3: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Thanked all employees of the City for their continuing hard work and dedication to the City. <br />Thanked the members of the City Commission and the City Manager who were going to be able to <br />attend Legislative Action Day in Tallahassee. <br />
