The Fire Chief shall <br />see that all buildings and premises are inspected for correction of fire hazards and elimination of <br />fire risks. <br /> <br />The Department may continue to operate as a volunteer organization until the City <br />Commission determines the need for a permanent Department which shall be administered by the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Amendment to City Charter, Article VII, Sections 31 and 38. <br /> <br />City Charter Amendment 2: <br /> <br />AMEND THE CHARTER TO CHANGE ELECTION DATE AND REQUIRE A MAJORITY <br />VOTE. <br /> <br />Should the Charter be amended to change the election date to the same date as the <br />State primary election, and to require that all City Commission candidates, <br />including the Mayor/Commissioner, receive the majority of the votes cast at any <br />general or special election in order to be elected, and to provide for a run-off, as <br />necessary? <br /> <br />Yes <br /> <br />No <br /> <br />5 <br />
