Mr. <br />Phillips stated he did not own any rental property and felt that all properties should be <br />properly maintained. <br /> <br />2) Ralph Burt, 1081 North Lake Sylvia Drive, President of the Central Florida Realty <br />Investors Association, spoke in opposition to Ordinance 00-982. Mr. Burt requested the City <br />Commission implement the alternative voluntary program proposed by Mr. Wells. <br /> <br />Commission consensus was to postpone consideration of Ordinance 00-982 in order to pursue the voluntary <br />enforcement program suggested by Mr. Wells. Vice Mayor Clark suggested that staff provide information <br />regarding the standard housing code to landlords and tenants. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Henson moved to table Ordinance <br />00-982 for a period of Eighteen (18) months. Motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner Sheppard. Motion <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br />Commissioner Sheppard - Yes; Commissioner Henson - Yes; Vice Mayor Clark - Yes; Mayor <br />Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 4 - O. <br /> <br />4. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 00-986 - SMALL SCALE FUTURE LAND <br />USE MAP AMENDMENT - KANE'S FURNITURE <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 00-986 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Henson. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 00-986 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF RECREATION/OPEN SPACE (ROS) FOR THAT PARCEL <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />
