<br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANJ)JNG <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />AND THE COASTAL FLORIDA POLICE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION <br />REGARDING ARTICLE 20. EMPLOYEE EXAMINATIONS <br />LIEUTENANTS BARGAINGING UNIT-CERTIFICATION 1510 <br /> <br />This Mcmorandum of Undcrstanding is entered into between the City of Casselberry <br /> <br />("City") and the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association ("PBA") on behalf of those <br /> <br />employees of the City in the classifications of Police Lieutenant (PERC Cel1ification Number <br /> <br />1510). The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to agree on a modification of <br /> <br />Article 20 of the collective bargaining agreement ("AgreemenC). In this regard. the City and the <br /> <br />PBA agree as follO\vs: <br /> <br />I. Article 20 of the Agreement establishes the requirement of each bargaining unit member <br /> <br />to attend and receive an annual physical examination. <br /> <br />2. Based upon discussions between the City and the PBA. the parties have agreed that the <br /> <br />language in Section 20.2 of Article 20 shall be amended to read: <br /> <br />'The annual physical exam shall be conducted by a city physician at the Florida <br /> <br />Hospital Corporate Health Center (currently located in the RDV Sportsplex). If <br /> <br />the city's contract with Florida Hospital is terminated. the City Manager may <br /> <br />provide an alternative physician."' <br /> <br />3. This amendment as set forth in paragraph 2 above will remain in crJixl. unless otherwise <br /> <br />mutually modified by the parties. for the duration of the Agreement between the City and <br /> <br />the PBA as listed in Article 26 of the Agreemcnt. <br />
